Set-up Item Categories

Set-up categories for all of your items (used when logging property into the admin area).

A well conceived taxonomy will help you organize property for better display on your website. It will allow front-end website users to search for items of interest by category as well as key words.

1) Select Number of Category tiers: (minimum = 1 tier / maximum = 3 tiers)

Create up to 3 levels (e.g. Advertising / Ceramic / Clock)

 

2) Add Categories by selecting "New Category": 

Add a Tier 1 category by adding the name only. Add a tier 2 or tier 3 category by adding a name and the "Parent Category" (the category directly above it). In the example above, Advertising/Ceramic also has several types of 3rd tier categories named "clock", "clothing", Counter Display" and "Country Store Items".
