Print & Email Appraisal Forms

Appraisal Forms Allows the FWS user to create professional appraisal forms for property evaluation. These forms are completely customizable and may be modified to the needs of the company.

An Appraisal form may only be generated AFTER a Receipt has been created with associated items under Create/View Receipts

1) Create Appraisal Form takes you to the list of Receipts available for Appraisal form creation:

  • Search on and use pencil icon to select a Receipt to use 
  • Choose Appraisal template you wish to use at the top of the page, select items you wish to include on the appraisal, and click “Assign” and you will land on the Print Appraisal page

2) Print Appraisal  page defaults to the “ Use the default template” for the Appraisal template chosen previously. If you want to add special language to the template - special information to display to the client -  choose “Use an alternate template version” and you will be able to modify the language used in the email and printed versions of the Appraisal form.

Options available for processing Appraisal form:

  • “VIEW” - allows you to display form to the screen and print and save
  • “EMAIL” - allows you to email the form as a PDF to the consignor of record.***ADD***(default email Template can be modified under Settings/Email Templates/General/”Appraisal Form”). Default email address will automatically be User’s email. If you want to email the receipt to another party, the process would be to “Save” and then forward the saved PDF to a 3rd party. 
  • SAVE” - automatically downloads a PDF version of the Appraisal form for later use.

 

Note: when making modifications to the Appraisal template, certain codes may be introduced to the template that will allow data to be pulled from the database directly. These codes appear in the WYSIWYG toolbar and include these functions:

IMPORTANT: It is necessary for the total form width to equal 100% when applying fields to the Item List. If the form width exceeds 100%, the information will go off the right margin of the printed page when printing the document. By clicking on the Source Code button, the infor

   Can be a number of images to show, or 'all' to show all images

 
Image handling  for displaying single or multiple images
 
Example:

    Can be 'full', 'large', 'medium', 'thumb'

Also, there are 'style' tags which will be applied to each image are:
    width
    height
    border
    float
    clear

    margin
    padding
    display

 
Style tags are actual CSS properties and will work exactly like CSS properties for the image.

No quotes should be used.

After each attribute should be a semi-colon ';'.
