1) Item Lookup

Scan the barcode for an item and the Item cataloging page page will display

 

2) Quick Item Info

Scan the barcode for an item and basic information about the Item will display including: title, receipt and lot information, auction information, photo and photo comments.

 

3) Status Update

Select an Item Status, then scan the item barcode to change the Status of an item (e.g. item has been “Released to Buyer”)

 

4) Location Update

Scan a Storage Location barcode, then scan an Item barcode to change the pre-defined location of an item. Storage Locations are established under Settings/Storage Locations and assigned a bar code upon set-up. Print the Storage Location bar code and place it on the storage location (or keep a book of all locations). Items can be assigned to any Storage Location.

Hard-Wired Bar Code Scanner (tethered to a computer)

Hand-held bar code scanner (hard-wire to your computer): $195 ea.
 
During set-up, follow instructions to STEP 3) scan the "HID Keybopard Emulation" bar code. Then, in the section ADD AN ENTER KEY: scan "Enter" bar code

Bluetooth (wireless) Bar Code Scanner  (Untethered bar code reader that communicates with a computer via bluetooth. The scanner base is a charging station and connects to a computer to create a pairing between the computer and the bar code reader). If your computer supports blue tooth, you do not need the scanner base to make a connection: if your computer does not support blue tooth, then it makes the connection possible)

When printing a bar code, download the bar code as a PDF and print using these settings. On a receipt you can download all bar codes at once, or individually.
Correct printing procedure:
   Install your label printer
   Download a bar code (PDF) for printing
   Open the PDF and choose Print
   Select the bar code printer as the destination
   Choose Paper Size 30336 1 in x 2-1/8 in.
