Users: can be both buyers and sellers. This area is where you manage and view all history related to a User.
1) List of all users: Select a User to work on or set up a new User. The one Unique Identifier is the Users Email Address:

2) Select a current User or add "New User": if you are entering a New User, you will view the "New User" page for entering customer information. Once the User's account has been created, a series of tabs are available for the account including:

TAB = Overview
- Snapshot view of the customer/user
- Shows Type, Interests, Mailing Lists, 12 month buying and selling summary, lifetime totals and Notes Section
- Admin can add a note to User’s file. Options for note “Type” are: “internal Note”, “Incoming Call”, “Outgoing Call” and “Voicemail”. Notes are listed in time sequence and viewable.

- Password (can be inserted at this time or temporary password can be sent to User: checkbox for Auto-Generate & Email on Save.)
- User permissions assignment tool will be available only for a Super-Admin. Permissions relate to internal system use. User Type can be changed to assign admin privileges only by a Super-admin. Only a Super-admin can set up another internal user with admin priveleges.

- Add Invoice Terms (which will appear on auction invoices)
- Cataloger? (if so, name will appear on item record drop-down for cataloging assignment)

- Client holds a Federal Firearms License = "Yes", then enter the FFL information in the provided fields. This information will be displayed in the "Firearms Receipt Record" when User makes a purchase requiring FFL license. Company must be set up under Settings/Firearms/Does this Company Sell Firearms checked as "Yes" for this action to be available in the User file.
- Active? Unchecked box will retain User information but remove from drop-down lists throughout the system

TAB = Referrer Rates: Commissions paid to people who refer property to the company.
Referrer Rates are based on the commission retained by the company from the seller. For example, if the X-company sells an item for $1,000 (hammer price or "buy-it-now" sale price) and the retained seller's commission is $100, then your Referrer will share that commission based on your mutual agreement. In the example below, the Referrer's commission rate is 30% of any amount over $1.00; therefore, the Referrer is paid $30.00 (or 30% of the retained commission from the seller).
- Set commission rates for this Referrer. Commission rates are based on:
1) Percentage of the Hammer Price of an Item sold at auction (excluding the Buyer’s Premium) or "buy-it-now" price
2) Alternate option: Flat rate per item sold at auction

TAB = Account Executive Rates
This tool is used generally for employees who are working on a commission basis.
Account Executive Rates are based on the commission retained by the company from the seller. For example, if the X-company sells an item for $1,000 (hammer price or "buy-it-now" sale price) and the retained seller's commission is $100, then your Account Executive will share that commission. In the example below, the Account Executive commission rate is 10% of any amount over $1.00; therefore, the Account Executive is paid $10.00 (or 10% of the retained commission from the seller).

How FWS assigns Consignor commission rates and where you can override these rates:
Global Rate Level: All Consignor Default commission rates for auctions are established under:
- Default Level: set under Settings/Consignor Defaults
User Override Level: Users/Consignor Info/”Change Default Consignor Rates Here”
- Users will be assigned default auction commission rates unless changed here. Clicking on button will display an option to change this User’s rates for:
1) All Auctions (if checked, this rate will be applied to all Auctions)
2) Auction Type (may override by any 1 individual Auction Type only)
Receipt Override Level: Create / View Receipts/Override Defaults
- When creating/editing a receipt for a Consignor, the default auction commission rates can be changed for all items related to this particular receipt only. ***The special rates will be applied to the ITEM level and noted on the consignor contract with the note: "Special rate for this item"
Item Override Level: Item Information/Edit Item/Admin Tab (“Override Consignment Rates”).
- Default consignment rate may be changed on a one-by-one basis. Special rates applied to individual items will be noted on Consignor Contracts as “Special rate for this item”
